I learned how to build perspectives and make watercolor-rendered architectural drawings by hand before the computer was as sophisticated as it is today. I still make perspectives and renderings by hand, but often now I build upon a computer generated model and I import the hand-drawn image into the computer to add color. Some renderings are refined and complex, but most are loose and less formal. Some are generated as design tools that change as the project progresses.
